Program Cancellation Policy

The McHard Firm has never cancelled a course.  However, in the unlikely event that a cancellation would occur, all registered participants for a McHard Firm group live class, seminar, workshop, or live webinar will receive a program cancellation notice sent to the email provided on the participant’s reservation form.  Any cancelled programs will result in a full refund to participants.  McHard eLearning (QAS Self-Study) courses are available 24/7 to participants, and thus are not cancelled.  If for some reason a course is not available after purchase for some technical reason, The McHard Firm will restore access to the purchased course, or provide access to another course of equal or greater value, or provide a refund, depending on the circumstances.

Refund Policy McHard eLearning QAS Self-Study

McHard Firm eLearning QAS Self-Study courses are purchased through our online Learning Management System (LMS) portal.  The participant has one calendar year (365 days) from the date of purchase to take and pass the course.  One or more reminder email(s) will be sent, prompting participants to complete their course, but The McHard firm is not responsible for non-delivery of reminder emails, nor for participants who lose access to their email.  Refunds will not be given for participants who fail to take the course within the allotted year.  Refunds may be given, at the discretion of the McHard Firm, if a participant has technical problems accessing the course which were not able to be resolved by The McHard Firm, or our Learning Management System (LMS) provider.

Refund Policy Group Live or Internet Group Live (Live Webinar)

A cancelled registration for a McHard Firm course, seminar, workshop, or live webinar, more than 30 days in advance of the scheduled start date will result in a full refund of the course fee.  Cancellation fewer than 30 days, but more than 7 days, before the scheduled course date will result in a refund of half of the course fee.  If cancellation occurs 7 days or fewer before the scheduled course date, no refund will be given.  At any point, up to the day of the course, a replacement registrant may attend in the place of the original registrant, at no additional charge.  Depending on when the McHard Firm is notified of the replacement, the new attendee may have to wait for generation of their certificate of completion.

California Civil Code §1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.  We are concerned that California evidently suffers from a shortage of hyphens, and is therefore unable to properly name their law; nevertheless, we will comply with it.  We don’t share any information with 3rd parties, so the response to that request will be very brief.  Nevertheless, if you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, despite the fact that we don’t disclose any information to 3rd parties, please submit your request in writing to us at:
