Janet M. McHard is the Founding Partner of The McHard Firm. She specializes in forensic accounting, fraud prevention, and accounting reconstruction. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics, and is Certified in Financial Forensics.
As a faculty member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Ms. McHard has been teaching on topics of fraud examination and white-collar crime since 2003, and in 2017 was named the ACFE James A. Baker Speaker of the Year. In 2016 she was inducted into the University of New Mexico Anderson Schools of Management Hall of Fame. That same year, she was honored as a Woman to Watch—Experienced Leader by the New Mexico Society of CPAs.
